Our Mission
Glucolz specialises in the design and manufacturing of cases and accessories for diabetic equipment. The goal is to improve the lives of diabetics by reducing the small frustrations encountered everyday whether it be trying to locate your test meter or trying to do blood tests without having to find somewhere to sit down, open up a pouch or purse and carefully perform a test.
We have developed cases for nearly 10 seperate devices now,, adn the variants of these designs massively outnumber this and of course are currently developing more! It is only with feedback from the community and people requesting cases for new devices that has really lead to the range that we have today.

Our Founder
David has been diabetic since 2007. Growing up with as a young boy with diabetes gave him a really good understand of the daily irritations of what goes along with the condition and meant he was often trying to find way of trying to improve the ways he could manage his diabetes. He has used countless different glucose test meters, insulin pumps and pens and continuous glucose monitors and is really passionate about the future of diabetes treatment, choosing to run an open-source closed-looping algorithm to help him control his blood sugar levels.
After buying his first 3D printer as a young teenager, he developed his first case for his Omnipod pump where he published the designs free-of-charge on Thingiverse for others to print and modify for their own use. These designs are still available today.
An engineer by trade, David runs Glucolz in his spare time and invests a lot of his time and money into its operation.
